Born in 1984 in Boynton Beach, Florida, Raphael began his artistic apprenticeship at an early age with his father Christophe Dubesset, a well-known painter and drawing teacher. Having studied at Duppere Applied Arts in Paris, he taught him the fundamentals of the art, such as drawing, volumes, perspective, color, charcoal, blood, acrylic or Watercolor, everything goes.
Between the ages of 10 and 17, he sells gouaches inspired by famous French artists like Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, Gauguin or Manet, seen in the masters books of his father.
During his studies in Graphic Design & Multimedia in Lausanne (Switzerland), he discovered parallel to the traditional techniques, digital painting and will indulge for a few years. He also follows a school of comics online for 6 months, participates in some competitions of professionals with whom he will learn a lot.
